The Spider Man

The picture resource: http://b.1asphost.com/murdermus/pictures/Spiderman.jpg

I have seen all of Spiderman series movies these days. I am impressed with a sentence the character uncle Ben once told Peter Parker, the Spiderman, “The great power comes with great responsibility.” The sentence forces me to ponder for a period of time. Anytime, any place, if we are able to give those who need our help, we should give our hands without a moment hesitation. We have the duty to help them.
I think one day when I become a doctor, I should take on the responsibilities of patients’ health.

The Statue of Liberty

The picture is also taken by my cousin.

The France government gave the statue of liberty to America as a present on their 110 years anniversary of independence. The statue is made of a sheeting of pure copper, hung on a framework of steel with the exception of the flame of the torch, which is coated in gold leaf. It stands atop a rectangular stonework pedestal.

Worldwide, the Statue of Liberty is one of the most recognizable icons of the United States, and in a more general sense, represents liberty and escape from oppression. What a big present it is!!

N E W S

The picture is taken last year on our teacher’s farewell meeting.

These days, when I saw the news on the internet, suddenly I found out that my teacher was on TV. Teacher comes from Beijing, China. Rumor has it that he is the appropriative doctor of the leader in china and many celebrate.
My classmates say that he is one of the five most famous doctors of Chinese medicine in china. I am proud to be one of his students!

Grand Canyon

The picture is taken by my cousin. The scene in the picture is Grand Canyon.

About a week ago, one of my cousins went to the famous Grand Canyon in America. He put the pictures on his blog, and asks me to see them there. I have ached for a tour to the magnificent Grand Canyon since I was in my junior high.

I can still recall the time my geographical teacher told us that she had been there, and she really had a good time. At that moment, I told myself that one day if I have enough money, I will go there once in my life!

Last Sunday

The scene in this picture is Green Lake Park.

Last Sunday some of my classmates and seniors and I went to Green Lake Park in Neihu Taipei. The International Federation of Medical Student’s Associations-Taiwan (IFMSA) held a campaign to promote some correct health mindset to ordinary people. I served as a staff for the “Obesity Awareness Day”. Though the weather that day is very hot, I still happy to have such an unforgettable experience!!

One day I found that one of my favorite singers, Lee Hom, had recorded a music video for the song “A Simple Song”. He picked the scene in Chung Gung, my school. Sometimes, I think the scenes he chose are fantastic for taking music video. However, on my way to classroom, the scene is so familiar with me that I won’t pay attention to it. Maybe I am really too busy.

AS BUSY AS A BEE

I become very busy these days. Except for lots of tests and exams, I still have to do several assignments and attend my cousins’ weddings. To release the stress, I always sing songs in front of my computer.

PREMITIVE COUNTRYSIDE

The picture resource: http://heritage.news.tom.com/img/assets/200404/c796.jpg

This picture tells the simplicity of the country life. The scene is not strange to me, because I was born in countryside. Nowadays, due to the industrialization of the villages, the scene cannot be seen far and wide. If you want to enjoy a moment of peace from this picture, you just have to stare at it and use your imagination.

Now imagine you “walk into” this picture. On entering the scene, the two kids who are playing sands and talking may come to you and ask: “Where are you come from?” On your right side, you can see bamboos leaning toward the land and the fresh bamboo shoots on the ground were carrying out their “groundbreakings”. The gentle breeze slowly blows over the leaves of the bamboos, which makes slight sound.

On the left, there are piles of haystack lying on the ground. Those haystacks are used to burn to raise the essential nutrition of the crops growth and, they are also used to cover the seedlings, preventing them from roasting of the sun. Upon the haystack, you can see there stand several aigrettes. They are having their feast, the worms. When walking too close to them, they will flicker and fly away.

In the middle, there stands a buffalo by the side of the fence. When you step across the hedge, you will see a typical pastoral, a house that is surrounded by a large paddy field and an extent of bamboo forest. What a picturesque scene it is!

Sometimes, when you feel tired or annoyed, just take a look at this picture and use the method that is mentioned above to relax for a while.

"NEW NEIGHBORS"

The first picture: We invited them to take this picture at the night before they leave.
The second picture: They gave us souvenirs as their presents.

About two weeks ago, I had new neighbors. They are students from the mainland China. They planned to live in Chung Gung for two days only. On their arrival, A-tai and I decided to call on them. A-tai bought a lot of drinks to treat them. They also gave us some souvenirs as the presents. Then, we had a nice chat with them.

They came from Wu Han, and all of them are senior to me. I am impressed with a student who major in medicine. He is silver-tongued and has a sense of humor. He always makes us laugh out loud. He has the ability that I learn to gain. It’s really a pity that I couldn’t take picture with him on their last night. Anyway, we all had a great experience!!

HAVE A NICE DAY !!

THE PICTURE RESOURCE: http://991.com/newgallery/Bon-Jovi-Have-A-Nice-Day-335387.jpg

Lynn and I went to Taipei Chung Gung memorial hospital yesterday afternoon. This is the second time for me to be an apprentice; actually it’s the first time. Still, I was a little bit nervous and have looked forward to the day for a week.

On the connection bus, we talked a lot about our childhood. Sometimes, I am not good at chatting with girls, but I think I did it well yesterday. I found that Lynn loves to laugh, especially “laugh out loud”. I think she is innocent and easygoing, so we always can figure out something to chat.

Because A-tai and I had decided to converge on Taipei Chung Gung memorial hospital, so there are totally three students in this probation. In the probation, what impressed me the most was that an old patient’s son praised us for we are the most diligent students he had met so far. Of course, we all felt very happy! So we decided to have a big meal after the class.
We really had “three” good times. That‘s why I said “HAVE A NICE DAY!!”.

"The Picturesque Picture"

NO DOUBT!!
This picture of florescent sunflowers is taking in our campus!!

Yesterday when David and I were walking from the second medical building to cafeterias, the sunflowers which were in full bloom caught our eyes. Then, we strode toward it, and took some beautiful pictures there!

Sometimes, I am so busy that I always forget to slow down my fast pace and just look around and enjoy the graceful things which are by my side all the while. I think if I keep losing sight of those brave things, my life would be colorless. To prevent the bad situation from happening, I should learn to "cherish" those lovely incidents that fleet by!!

Just keep it "LIKE" a diary!!

The figures in this picture are my cousins. They were in a downtown of Cincinnati. They are having tasty ice cream!

Two of my cousins went to America last Sunday. One is on business, and the other is ready to study abroad. They show me their pictures in America on the blog everyday. They said that the life pace in America is not as fast as which in Taiwan, of course except the big cities, such as New York, the Silicon Valley, Seattle…etc. I am so envious of their tours abroad! I hope one day I can travel where I want to visit!!

Happy Mother's Day

The picture resource: http://www.rlrouse.com/pic-of-the-day/mother-baby.jpg

This Sunday is Mother’s Day. I have asked many of my classmates whether they will go home this week. Most of them will go home this weekend. I am so envious of them, because my mom will go to Ping Tong on this weekend. Mom is going to be a matchmaker in my cousin’s wedding, which will be held right on Mother’s Day. It’s a pity that we (I have an older brother and an older sister.) can’t celebrate the Mother’s Day. But, maybe we can celebrate it some other day.

Have A Bad Day

The picture resource: http://singti.myweb.hinet.net/%A5%CD%AE%F0890924.JPG

I went to Taipei Chung Gung memorial hospital this afternoon. It’s the first time for me to be an apprentice. I was a little bit nervous. Actually, I have looked forward to the day for a week.

But…………..unfortunately, when my classmate and I arrived the waiting room of the teacher who I was supposed to meet, the nurses there told me that my teacher was off this afternoon. At that moment, both of us were so depressed. Then we began to plan going to somewhere in Taipei. But, because of the bad weather and of course “the bad mood”, finally we called off it, and then we just went back to school at about 2 o’clock. I can help but say today is not my day. But, there is one thing that I had learned from this lesson: maybe I have better to make a confirmation in advance the next time!

A Little Bit Tired

The picture resource: http://www.eg.bucknell.edu/~hyde/dan/Scott-tired.jpg

Today, I just finished the important mid-term exam of Chinese Medicine Diagnostics(中醫診斷學). I spent a lot of time studying it. I went to sleep late everyday in this week. Sometimes, I think it is my waste of time that elongates my bedtime. In dormitory, I usually chat with my roommates, use computer and, listen to music. Any one of these behaviors will distract me. I felt a little bit tired this week. If I want to improve this situation, one thing that I can try is move to another studying place. In my opinion, it may force me to focus on what I am doing.
