A Recommendable Movie.

The picture resource:http://www.miramax.com/quietamerican/
I went to see the movies in the library yesterday afternoon. A movie called “A Quiet American” impressed me a lot. It tells that the American plays an important role in disuniting the Vietnam. When Vietnam was fighting for independence with France, the “QUIET” Americans served as mediator or peacemaker. However, they sponsored the rebel force with lots of money and munitions “in the dark”. Finally they succeeded to force the Vietnam to go to war, the Metal Slug. In this war, many soldiers were killed. As a proverb goes, “The man who helps you in need might be your foe”. In this movie, it is self-evident that the American was the hiding enemy for Vietnam. In short, the director successfully described how “quiet “the Americans are. I was so happy to pick such a thought-provoking movie. It will make me deliberate for several weeks.

I had been to vietnam this winter vacation. There, it surprised me there wasn't any McDonald, because Mc. Donald can not beat baguette! People there all hate Americans. Frech had built many infrastructures, had educated the people in vietnam. However, American had spread 2,4-D in Vietnam War and caused people there sick, like abnormal shape.

It's interesting to study the history and to know how this war is thought in term of vietnam people.

The Americans just did too much of the things. They use millitary power to conquer the whole world and take over a lot of resources. But recently many americans are against their government for the invasion in Iraq. That's a good sign. The U.S. should use their wealth to help reorganize the economic situation of the poor countries like Vietnam.
